First built in the Spring of 2017, these were built as a way to take the lessons learned from building the whales and apply them to something smaller. I had so much fun building the prototype that I followed it up with an initial run of 10. Each is different with the angle of the wings, head and tail altered for different flying poses. Lots of fun individually or as several flying together. Made of Oregon White Oak and reclaimed fir, lashed together with artificial sinew, and finished with linseed oil.
